John Grant | Pale Green Ghosts (official video)

Po výrazném a úspěšném debutu z roku 2010 Queen of Denmark přichází John Grant s novou deskou nazvanou Pale Green Ghosts (Bella Union). Stejný název připadl i na první singl, které album otevírá. Hypnoticky monotónní skladba Pale Green Ghosts postavená na repetetivním motivu modulovaných synthetizátorů působí stejně jako klip na první pohled stroze, ale stačí se nechat unášet melodiií zpívanou podmanivým hlasem Johna Granta a jistě podlehnete. V klipu se mi líbí opakující se motivy (otevírání kufru auta, noční silnice, kopání..), přes které se nakonec dobereme k pěkné pointě. Režie se ujal Alex Southam (např. klipy pro Alt-J, The Walkmen). A úplně bych zapomněl na ten nádherně potemnělý text...
